"How do I cook your meals?"

All our meals are designed to be cooked  from frozen.  They have been blast frozen to retain the nutritional value, great taste, appearance and texture.  Cooking instructions are on the label of each product.  We recommend that our meals are all cooked from frozen in a conventional oven. Should you wish to use a microwave oven, please make sure you follow the oven manufacturers' handbook. Please note  some meals come in silver foil packaging, and these cannot directly be used in a microwave oven.

"What do you use in your meals?"

We use local meat that has lead a natural life, free range poultry and absolutely no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or enhancers.  We are concious of the need to use fish from sustainable stocks.

"Are your meals gluten free?"

We have a small selection of gluten free dishes on our menu.  Please select the "Gluten Free" option on the left hand of 'Our menu', on the home page.  Please call us on 01383 620076 if you are unsure about any of our dishes.
We are constantly revising our menu and more dishes will be added in due course.

"What's different about your meals?"

At HomeCook we use the very best local ingredients available, just like you would at home.  We cook in small batches with care and attention to detail.  Absolutely no additives are present in our meals and the results are  high quality, great tasting meals that are superior to other ready meals on offer. We challenge you to taste the difference!
